A Fiesty Life
Maybe this will inspire me to get on with it?
A beautiful series depicting counterculture Japanese youth in the mid 60s shot by Michael Rougier. I love these photographs because they captured an array of emotion; from universally-shared teen angst to “moments of genuine fellowship.”
I enjoyed these and hope you do too!
It’s been almost two weeks since wrapping up my last tour with CMF. The last four months led up to this very moment, when I no longer needed to drag suitcases from hotel room to hotel room, city to city. Where I could fall asleep and wake up knowing where I am every morning. Where familiar faces are more than just an image on their latest Facebook post. I should be excited at the thought of being “home”, but, oddly, I’m not.
Maybe it hasn’t fully hit me yet that I AM DONE. That means, no more jaunts across the country in a branded black minivan and a 17’ box truck. No more sleepless nights to make it from one event to the next. No more road food! Wait? Why am I not excited to be back?!
There are some things I will miss though. Like the people you meet and the amazing places you get to see. I am grateful for these last two years, for affording me the opportunity to experience new places and things that wouldn’t have been possible for me before, and, while I am still reeling from it all, I am looking forward to whatever lies ahead.

In honor of Women’s History Month, I’ve assembled a few choice tracks from my favorite era…the 80s! Enjoy and don’t forget to share!
